Accruent’s Maintenance Connection team believes in delivering the best customer experience possible. While our current cloud infrastructure has, on the whole, performed well over the years, we recognize that in recent months there have been performance issues. Our current cloud platform performance level is below both our standards and our customer’s expectations. We are working to change that. We firmly believe that our cloud hosting platform adds incredible value and scalability for our customers, and we’re going to be making some improvements to ensure you receive these benefits.
As part of Accruent, Maintenance Connection has gained access to additional cloud resources that offer advantages to our customers. These resources include a superior cloud infrastructure system backed by a mature Cloud Operations team.
We are excited to announce that we are taking the first steps in a process to move the Maintenance Connection infrastructure into the primary Accruent cloud infrastructure. This is exciting for Maintenance Connection customers for several reasons, including:
Superior Hardware Platform: The Accruent Cloud is a much more robust cloud platform that provides higher performance and reliability.
Modern Operating Systems: As a part of the move, we will be upgrading the back-end systems to the most current operating systems to help maintain performance, get increased functionality, and maintain the highest security standards possible.
Expanded Cloud Team Support: In addition to hardware and software changes included in this migration, we are also adding more personnel to our cloud support team and increasing our capacity to offer help when you need it.
Closer Proximity to our Customers: Because Accruent’s data center is located in Texas, we expect enhanced performance to result from simply being geographically closer to the majority of Maintenance Connection customers.
As we move forward with this project, Accruent’s Maintenance Connection team is working to make the transition as seamless as possible for our customers. Nothing about how users access the system will change, and the Maintenance Connection software will continue to have the same look and feel.
We will soon give a more definitive time frame for the completion of this move, and will communicate about any changes that may take place during this transition. Our preliminary estimate is for a 6-month migration period.
